[through John Battelle] A new vertical search engine plans to launch tomorrow (I think it’s already in BETA), Koders.com. Koders has an interesting goal, although done before, it’s quite neat — and I don’t think anyone has done it the way Koders’ has before.
Koders is basically a search engine for middle-class programmers like me – we do it, but only when time requires – and, well, I hate to admit it, but we have trouble finding the right code for a job. Koders.com simplifies that solution and will now let me just search for the type of code I’m looking for and if someone’s entered it — I’ll be able to put that in my code and carry on. Neat huh?
It supports almost every known computer language, and one think I would like to suggest to them is to put the search box forward (e.g. make it easier to access) because when I was looking for it, I couldn’t find it and had to use the one here.
