Ok, I seem to have gotten a bit carried away for the last few days. Don’t know how it happens, but it happens. Anyway, some stuff I’ve missed in brief:
I recently edited a show on Vint Cerf at ITConversations, therefore when I saw this post (and this) something flashed at me. Vint Cerf is the creator of the IP Protocol and Chairman of ICANN (the place you theorically ‘paid’ for your domain.) Great, I say — but I don’t mean it until I see something actually happen because of this recruitment (after all, it doesn’t matter even if you hire Bill Gates to be the Chief Blah Blah until Bill Gates actually does something which affects the company in a good way).
Now here’s some news for us FireFoxers. Google’s released a toolbar for FireFox. I won’t be using this as I already have the other unofficial one which works just as well if not better, but it is something to look at if you’ve FireFox’d without it.
I thought this would be worth to link to since it certainly was something when I found it. Ok, so iTunes doesn’t sync to other MP3 players, Windows Media Player does but its interface is no iTunes, how could you get the best of both worlds? Get the Yahoo! Music Engine and I’m 70% sure you won’t regret it. I use it on a daily basis, and it’s awesome. Not for receiving podcasts though, sadly, but I am positive it is something they will consider. Just a note, if you didn’t know, this is based on Music Match Yahoo! acquired sometime last year.
