When I last posted about jux2 I mentioned talking to one of my search engine owning friends who said if jux2 went for more than 30k, he’ll be putting his up soon. Well, that was no joke. Alistair (or Mack), that very friend and the owner of search engine UKWizz is now accepting bids over here on eBay.
So if any of you folks (the bid is, worldwide) are interested in owning a full-indexing UK-specific search engine, do have a look — of course, it’s not just the technology your paying for but also the brand and its value. I’ve known "Mack" for about three years now and only god knows what he as put into the search engine — I do remember when he came up with this brilliant idea in 2002 and it did take him two years to set it all up (it’s not an easy job!).
