Spare change? Taking Donations…

Won a Million Dollars!

As soon as my previous advertisers’ contract ended, I snapped out that piece of Blogads HTML and added a PayPal donate button. First of all, let me make this clear. I don’t like ads in blogs as a reader, I think they just take up some precious space. However, being a blogger myself, I can imagine the reason for them being there. Bloggers are people too. They need money to keep a blog up and running. The money that comes in has two reasons: (a) encourage the blogger (b) pay the bills. But, I would rather be keeping the users happy than the advertisers.

For this reason, I’ve decided to try out a new concept. No ads. There isn’t one piece of affiliate link, banner image, adsense code or any such type of a place-taking thing in the site. But, you will notice on the top right-hand corner, there is a donate button. I need your help! As I’ve described in my about page, I’m currently not a millionaire. I do have a day job, but seriously I would be rather blogging a hundred times a day than doing that. If I manage to get such money, people, I’ll post a copy of my resignation letter on the site. But until then, even your dollar counts.

I need to maintain this blog, pay the bills, you know, all the usual stuff. So, please please, if you have any kind of spare change left in your wallets, correction PayPal accounts, or you like what I do here, do find it in your hearts to donate it here. I know, I know. You would rather be helping people trapped in earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, than a guy in New Zealand, and if you think so, that’s fine, the RedCross website is always here, however, if at the time you’re reading this the world is in peace, do click on the link below and help me maintain this site.

(Please note that rev2.org may not be remain ad-free permanently. If I find that the donate link literally isn’t working, and/or a potential sponsor shows interest and happens to end up sponsoring this site, I may have to, with the consent of all the readers place the sponsors’ ad, logo or whatever through [with a promise that it won’t intercept what I write or what you read].)
