Ask CEO to Run MSN

I think this is some quite rattling news. Ask CEO (now former) Steve Berkowitz has left Ask (or AskJeeves, Ask.com, whatever you call it) to be the new head of MSN and others (Windows Live, MSNTV, etc.) John Battelle has some coverage here. Out of all things though, I really hope he doesn’t make MSN Search look like Google like what he did to Ask.

Written for anyone that can do anything for those in this situation!
    Greetings,
I am a Retired Navy Chief Aviation Electronics Technician and will be 82 this Feb.!
Perhaps you might be able to make those that write the web pages aware that all that are using computers are no longer young. I have to increase my font size three or four times to read and on some pages this puts the print under the print on the side bar and impossible to read it! Certain colors such as light blue or gray is hard to read and there seem to be no method of changing them unless one gives CSS a try and I know I will not go there! It does no good to communicate via emails to these people! Nothing ever happens. If one has a problem and calls some number one gets someone from a foreign country and one cannot understand them because of poor English! Mostly wasted time!

As an example on Oct 11th I lost the ability to sign in to an MSN account that is a freebie with QWEST as my ISP and have tried almost daily to get help from Qwest, from MSN, from Apple as I use a Mac all to no avail! Have written many emails to no effect!

I cannot find a large lettered keyboard for the Mac that is fully compatible. I am sure there are other considerations that are out there for those getting up in years and though their bodies may be falling apart their minds are still lucid and functional. These are problems that most do not think of when writing a program or web page and I feel that it should be taken into consideration.

I appears that those in this profession will listen to you from what I read about you so I hope you will expound on what I have written among those that could make a difference!
    Many thanks,
    Frank
