Michael Arrington concludes that Gtalkr — which closed down yesterday — was in a way acquired by Google, as in the service got shutdown and its founders snagged the official ‘Googler’ title, yes, they got the jobs. If they got any compensation for Gtalkr, I’m not sure, but it sounds like they might’ve. I can’t help but imagine how encouranging and inspiring something like this may be for startups all over the place.
