I recently posted about Shopify, the first-to-last step store building tool with 2.0 roots (other words, Web 2.0 style). eCrater is a similar service with a more traditional business model: use the service for free, pay for a featured listing. I have to say that having breifly tried out both, Shopify is much more preferable — while eCrater may have the eyeballs, it’s business model and even interface is too Web 1.0 for me.
