Pando is an interesting application which is, like about four or five others that I know of, trying to break the e-mail attachment hassle by offering an alternative solution. Pando enables you to send any type of file of any size to any person with an e-mail address. The cache, of course is that both ends have to have the Pando software installed. Currently in beta and not a dime to pay for, I tried it out and I think no excuse could be big enough to not use it, although if this was all web-based I'd mean it more.
