Forget my last q, it seems you can post your own jobs. There is too much competition and too little traction here – check out h3 and yorz.

I think it would help to show the size of the marketplace on the front page (even if its quite small). otherwise i get the perception there is NOTHING on the site.

It will be interesting to see how many “referrals” are actually jobs at the poster’s employer. I am curious if this is encouraged at WTTT?

Ah… yes, fake referrals and systems to stop them. As fate would have it, that is EXACTLY what we are testing this first week of Beta. We’re trying various things, from a craiglist style flagging system, to an ebay style reputation system, down to a plain old by-hand editorial system. We knew this was something we could only test effectively with live users. Just wanted to let you know that that is precisely what we’re working on: a way to weed out crap referrals without discouraging initial participation.
