Well, if you imagine the other 100 companies these investors have given 5m+ for and still haven’t seen any results, a 2x ROI is at least something I guess. Also, they didn’t mention if this was in cash or stock. As we all know, stock is completely different to cash — if Friendster had taken the 30m in Google stock they’d be worth hundreds of millions today.

Raised $6.8m and sold for $15m? Not exactly a great return for investors and I’m surprised they let it happen, must be more to the story I imagine.
