I was tipped recently about a new community called Only Human, which is, in their words, “a community where people share stories about mistakes they’ve made in life and advice others.”
Based on a format which kind of, for some unknown reason, reminds me of do-it-yourself site Instructables (yes, I do know they are two very different things), Only Human is a cool idea which has already seemed to gather a participating crowd of community members. People admit to their mistakes and receive advice of what would’ve been the right thing to do.
Provided a list of categories ranging from Arts to Technology, examples of mistakes people have admitted to include “losing a contact lens” to “blowing a budget” and “reading 12pm instead of 12am.” The best thing about Only Human is that along with a community of mistake-admitters and advisors, you can bet there’s a lot for the reader as well.
