Flickaday: Take a Picture Every Day

By Brandon West    June 7th, 2007

Botston based startup Flickaday lets you store one picture every day from a camera or webcam and lets you share those photos with friends or family.

How it Works
Flickaday works in two ways. First, if you have a webcam, the site will let you take your picture live and it will store the picture. Second, if you have a digital camera, you can upload a picture each day. After uploading, you can tag your pictures with your mood.

The fun of this site is the widget that you can include on other sites. You can chronicle your daily doings with Flickaday and the widget puts them together for you into movie format. You can embed the widget directly into your site and users can browse the photos, watch them as a movie or share the video with friends. Think of this service as a mix between Twitter and Flickr with the added widget capability (maybe?).
