Avvo is trying to get sued by lawyers for PR, then start positioning themselves as the players working with lawyers for accurate reads. All they want is to generate buzz right now, and have tons of lawyers get angry enough about their profiles to actually demand action. Meanwhile, they are focused on maximizing SEO rankings for every lawyer. I think that’s the point.
