Side Job Track is a free service that lets users manage a small side project’s daily needs such as invoicing, reporting, project management, and job tracking. Part time independent contractors could find this service very valuable.
The project management portion of the site lets you organize your projects and all of the random information associated with each of them into one easy reference. Invoices can be customized and sent to customers. The reporting section of the site lets you keep track of money you have received from different clients. All of this data can be exported in XML format for peace of mind.
Side Job Track was created by the same developers that created Artypapers. I was led to Artypapers after doing some research on Side Job Track, and I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of web apps Artypapers have under their belt:

Jobpile
Jobpile aggregates a lot of the most popular online job boards into one searchable database. Some of the databases accessible include Authentic Jobs and 37signals jobs.
CSSHelpPile
CSSHelpPile is a “huge pile” of CSS scripts, tutorials and reference articles. The tips and tricks can be searched, and the site includes categories such as CSS Showcase sites and a “For Beginners” section.
