Take a trip over to CNN and see what many have been waiting for. The new site is out of beta, and I really love the changes they have made. The color scheme is much easier on the eyes, and there is a lot of social functionality built in to the site now. The hot topics bar at the top is really handy for those of us who like to go to CNN and find the most important news really quickly.
Halfway down the page you will see the local section, I find this really useful. The weather is informative and unobtrusive and the local news is great. I prefer the new layout over the old, there is a lot of added functionality. I am really looking forward to the release of CNN Pipeline’s replacement. The note on the website says that is scheduled for July 2nd and it is going to be absolutely free. I loved CNN Pipeline, but I didn’t feel it was worth paying for at the time because of glitches. I will review this new service when it releases.
