We don’t really cover new Facebook applications too much, but we do try and keep track of the services we write about (and love). JamJunky is one we covered back in May which gives song writers and musicians a platform for their ‘work in progress,’ and they just unveiled a Facebook application today. The application will let Facebookers post their song listings and integrate their MP3s to their Facebook profile.
So, what’s the big deal? If you remember the beginnings of other services like MySpace and Bebo, they were pretty big with the indie musicians and bands in the early days, having growing fan bases track their every move. That never really happened with Facebook. Is JamJunky the answer? If you’re one of the peeps who makes their music and uses JamJunky, go add it to your profile!
