Personally I have not found "every man" generated podcasts to be interesting at all. I do find that subscribing to podcasts of NPR shows and ESPN shows that my schedule ALWAYS forces me to miss has been life-changingly good! Great for the commute.

I agree with Kosso. If you want to be able to listen to podcasts on-the-go (on your iPod, on your cell phone, and/or on your commute), go to http://www.stitchr.com and you'll find an easy way to listen to content while you're mobile.

At Stitchr we've also seen a shift towards personalized audio content. Right now our service is invitation only, but if you sign-up on our site or email me info(AT)stitchr.com, we can get you setup with an invitation if you want to try it out.

I'm obviously a big fan of discussing this topic, but so feel free to email me directly mike(AT)stitchr.com if you want to talk about it more!

Hello Kosso,

I am glad things are going well for you at Podcast.com! I don't think I ever said I do not like Podcasts because I cannot find anything I like. I thought about it more and I think I realized why podcasts may not be for me. I think they take too much of a time commitment for me. With a blog I can read through it quickly as where a podcast I need to dedicate a set amount of time to finish one.

Over at http://podcast.com we're seeing the traffic for podacasts rise steadily along with the amount of podcasts out there.

The problem has been that the places to find them were just not good enough ;)

You're either in to audio of video based media or not. I'm sure if you have a look around, you'll find some content which you might enjoy.

It's pretty narrow minded to write it pff just becuase you can't find what piques your interest, eh? ;)

Same here, I've listened to few pod casts here and there, never subscribed to a website or actively searched for podcasts, I guess its a good thing for Yahoo! to focus a bit and stop creating sites for anything they think of.
