I do find that subscribing to podcasts of NPR shows and ESPN shows that my schedule ALWAYS forces me to miss has been life-changingly good! Great for the commute. The problem has been that the places to find them were just not good enough ;) You're either in to audio of video based media or not. I'm sure if you have a look around, you'll find some content which you might enjoy.
