First30Days.com is a neat new startup based out of Louisville, Kentucky that aims to help you guide you through that life change you’re looking for in 30 days and (if you’d like) beyond
The way it works is that in the signup process, users check a bunch of boxes and choose their changes — from adopting a child, to understanding HDTV, getting in shape, being pregnantand, and living more spiritually. After that, for every change you choose, First30Days will send you 30 tips every day for 30 days, the idea being that the tips will act as helpful and motivating guides while you’re working through it. After your 30 days are over, you can choose to get a copy of their newsletter, Everyday Change, for as long as you like.
We’ve all witnessed the times when we want to make a change in our life. I’ve personally tried exercising consistently in my home-gym, but I can never seem to keep at it, and soon lose the motivation/habit. First30Days looks to solve this universal problem and help out thousands who are in the same, possibly frustrated, situation.
On the technology aspect, FirstDays is at its simplest. Users can track their changes through their website at most, but there is no unneeded social network, community forum, or a group wiki behind it — which is what I like. In the end, it’s up to the person and his or her dedication toward the change, but First30Days looks to help in the simplest way and most useful way possible.
