Ping.fm, the easy to use service that lets you mass update several social profiles at once, has announced that they are now in open beta. As a member myself, I have been using ping almost everyday since I was grated access into use the system many months ago.
With Ping.fm, a user goes to the site, and leaves a status update/message and it updates numerous services that the user has set up. You can use it to update on sites like twitter, facebook, GTalk, AIM, identi.ca, friendster, hi5, myspace and the list goes on and on.
Ping.fm has also added some new features and sites they support. One of the new features is the ability to add threaded comments thanks to Disqus. This will allow for concersations about your uploaded stuff. Other changes include personalized public profiles. They are working out the kinks to “make your ping.fm profile a one-stop shop for all of your social networking management needs.”
Using ping.fm from their mobile interface on the iPhone is clean and simple as well. If you have an iPhone and aren’t sending your message blasts through ping.fm yet, you really should try it.
