So Google+ has been promoting the fact that its user base has been growing faster than any other social media network has previously been capable of doing. It has even beaten Facebook in this department, although it is the only way it has been able to do so thus far.
However, it would seem as if the potential for real success with Google+ would come in the form of games. According to news reports that came out of the Game Developers Conference this week, Google is aiming to collate all of its gaming ventures under one roof by next year.
It is too early to speculate about what this might mean for Google+, but it is certainly the case that we could expect more games to be made available on the social networking platform. No doubt, the social media newbie has seen how games have been integrated into Facebook, not least with the success of Angry Birds. Now they have spoken about how gaming could be a crucial element of the future success of Google+.
Many people are still questioning whether the huge numbers of people signed up to Google+ are actually using the site in any way. The reality of the situation is that the influx of new games on the platform could persuade users to frequent the site a lot more often. Only time will tell whether this is actually the case or not.
