I got a sneak peek at the FanExperience App from Pack Events, a company based here in Florida. The app is a mobile engagement and monetization platform that delivers interactive experiences for fans and event goers. It will be showcased at the BizBash Live expo in Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday.
“FanEx App was developed to address several gaps in the mobile event space,” said Matt Lally, CEO and Founder of Pack Events. “First, we wanted to give event owners the ability to deliver exclusive content that keeps event goers immersed in the experience, engaging and exciting audiences before, during and after events. A second objective was to leverage advanced Bluetooth beacons and geo-fencing technology to integrate phones with components of the physical event, creating interactive, personalized experiences. Lastly, we wanted to create a simple yet powerful app that’s easy to customize and use, and serves as a single mobile application that supports numerous events while engaging and maintaining a dialogue between the event owner and their app-based community in between each event.”
The app is sort of a combination of social networking and engagement. Event organizers can create communities out of the attendees to their events while those attendees can interact with the app to create a personal timeline of happenings while they’re there as well as share those happenings on their own, personal social media networks. Event organizers can also drive dynamic advertising content through the app at targeted users who are engaged with the portion of the event the advertisement might be aimed toward. Consumer product and merchandising sales can also be done through the app.
A very cool idea that is well-executed by Pack Events.
