We all carry a smart phone now, it seems, yet we all also still carry wallets. Physical wallets with credit cards and pictures of our kids and stuff. It seems redundant. Well, the makers of the CM4 Q Card Case think so anyway and they might be on to something.
I received an iPhone 6 case from them to try it out and it’s better than I’d expected. This is an iPhone 6 Plus case that has slots to hold your credit cards and such so you can go without a wallet. It’s brilliant. It gives you a place to put your ID, a couple of cards, and maybe a picture of your family or something.
The case itself is soft-touch rubber for impact resistance onto which a stitched fabric pocket has been added at the back. Openings are pre-cut for headphones, lightning port, etc., of course. It holds about three cards, including your ID. The case is much smaller than expected and keeps the phone small enough for your front pocket. That’s a bonus.
An interesting note is that the rubber case was thinned near the camera lens and flash so that it doesn’t interfere with flash photography at all. That was some detailed thinking. You can also use a card in the slot above the pocket as a “prop” to hold your phone upright in landscape mode if you happen to also carry or use a keyboard.
Very nicely done and well-designed. You can find these on Amazon or get them direct from C4.
