Ok, I have to admit, I almost forgot about today’s rundown. Was busy redesigning rev2.org again (after days of hardwork, completely crossed out the previously designed. Didn’t like it).
rev2.org #5 for February 1st 2005
- Blogs vs. NYTimes on Google (Kottke.org): Jason Kottke decided to take it on..
That is, do a few sample queries and check out who’s the winner. And blog about it. Guess what? Blogs mostly won. - Wikipedia Blocks US Congress IP Address (Wikipedia): Seems to be the story of the day
Wikipedia has apparently blocked a range of US Congress IPs because some of their staffers were involved in content wars on some of the politicians. To keep this blog “politically unopinionated,” I won’t comment on this one. - Blog Statistic tools…
And a few more I can’t mention…..I’d watch this space.
- Google at Work on Own Linux (The Register): And this is more than a rumor
‘Goobuntu’? I wouldn’t run it even if it was Google. - Warner Bros to Sell Movies on the Net via P2P…Legally: Yes, they’re taking that step
I hope they’re cheap because those P2P downloaders don’t buy legal DVDs for one reason: too expensive. I don’t exactly see them buying these movies for the same price even if they’re downloadable.
